​Hi, I’m Leandra, a visual storyteller with over 13 years of experience in (online) video content creation. My journey began in 2012 when I graduated from the Utrecht School of the Arts with a degree in Digital Video Design. Shortly after, I founded MovingCreations, my first step into combining creativity and entrepreneurship.

 

In 2021, I launched Studio HER, a full-female creative agency that focuses on video, photography, and pushing for more diversity, both behind the scenes and beyond.
As the founder and driving force of Studio HER, I’m passionate about creating opportunities, collaborating with inspiring people, and initiating projects that truly make an impact.
While leading the agency, I stay connected to my creative roots by working as a (self-shooting) director, keeping my passion for storytelling alive.

Humanity, social impact, the environment and art have always been my red thread. Guiding the stories I tell and the projects I choose to work on. I believe in blending these elements to inspire change and create meaningful connections. 

 

I wear many hats: concept and campaign developer, creative director, (self-shooting) director, camera operator, and editor. Whether it’s commissioned work or self-initiated projects, I thrive in the mix of quick turnarounds, long-term collaborations, and storytelling that feels authentic and dynamic.

 

Over the years, I’ve captured stories and moving images for clients ranging from Milieudefensie to Heineken, WOMEN inc., Westergasfabriek, GroenLinks, KPN, and the European Greens.
My gear is set up for high-end video online productions, audio and video recordings. 

 

For me, storytelling is all about intimacy, curiosity, and most importantly: authenticity. I believe in creating work that’s dynamic, vibrant, and full of heart.
